How We Work

Every engagement begins with a conversation. We want to understand what you have, your goals, and any constraints you face. From there, we develop a scope of work that addresses your priorities.

For most projects, we follow a phased approach:

Phase 1: Assessment
We examine your collection on-site or through sample materials you provide. This results in a report outlining current conditions and recommended next steps.

Phase 2: Planning
Based on the assessment, we develop a detailed work plan with timeline, deliverables, and cost estimates. You review and approve before we proceed.

Phase 3: Implementation
Our team carries out the agreed work, whether digitization, organization, preservation, or a combination. We provide regular progress updates.

Phase 4: Documentation
Every project concludes with documentation of what was done and guidance for ongoing care. This might include finding aids, condition reports, or maintenance recommendations.
